    Biblical Botany Walking Tour
    View The Frelinghuysen Arboretum's plant collections through the lens of the Old

    Testament. Dr. Jon Greenberg returns to The Frelinghuysen for the fifth year to

    walk us through more than 5,000 years of history.
    His knowledge of botany and the Talmud combine to make a fascinating walk,

    even for experienced horticulturists. Learn something new from a very old source!
    This program is eligible for 1.5 Rutgers Master Gardener CEU's

    Join us for an introduction to identifying wildflowers with "Newcomb's Wildflower

    Guide" We will cover the basic structure of plants with a focus on plant parts that

    assist with identification. We will follow the keys outlined in Newcomb's Guide to

    help us identify plant speciments. lead by Ryan Rebozo, Ph.D., director of

    Conservation Science at the Pinelands Preservation Alliance

    Grow Your Groceries - Herbs and Edible Flowers
    Herbs and edible flowers are featured this month.
    Jeanne Lardino, Frelinghuysen Arboretum Gardener and Chef and Master

    Gardener Cynthia Triolo team up to present programs focusing on the Barkman

    Vegetable Garden. Jeanne will focus on growing techniques, best varieties, pest

    and disease management and how to harvest. Cynthia prepares a few dishes

    using the veggies and herbs for you to taste, focusing on storage and cooking

    methods. Recipes accompany each talk.
    Each program in this series is eligible for 1.5 Rutgers Master Gardener CEU's.
